The Popinjays first burst onto the UK Indie scene in 1988. A John Peel session, 3 albums for One Little Indian, and a US Alternative top ten, "Vote Elvis", which saw the band sign with Epic Records in the US. After an almost 25 year hiatus, the original line up of Wendy, Polly and the drum machine are back to making occassional live appearances. Rarities & Demos contains 10 unreleased tracks.
